2022: It’s Been a Busy Year

2022 was a year of uncertainty for the agricultural industry, but despite the challenges, Clwyd Agricultural made the most of it! From trips abroad to attending various shows across Wales, our team had an action-packed year. Let’s take a look at some of our highlights from 2022:

Our Summer Shows 

The summer months brought a much-needed return to some sort of normality, with our team attending several shows throughout Wales. These included Royal Welsh Agricultural Show Grassland Event, RWAS itself, Caerwys, Llanrwst, Eglwysbach, All Wales Ploughing Match, Welsh Game Fair, Denbigh & Flint and Cerrig Show. To top it off we also attended Sioe Mon—which is always one of our favorite events! 

Trips Abroad

In September, Clwyd from our team visited Finland with Avant - a great trip that allowed us to learn more about the company's products and services. Later that month Gareth and Griff headed over to Germany to learn more about Deutz-Fahr tractors, then in October Griff jetted off to Sweden with Stihl for the Timbersports World Championships.     

Talks & Open Evenings

We also gave a talk at the Flintshire Vintage Tractor Club at Brynford Golf Club on 16th November which was well received by everyone who attended. Plus Cilcain Young Farmers came along for an enjoyable open evening get together. 

2022 was full of wonderful experiences for us here at Clwyd Agricultural and 2023 is already shaping up to be just as good (if not better)! As we say goodbye to 2022, we want to thank all of our supporters who made this amazing year possible. We can’t wait to get back out into the field (literally!) and look forward to another great year full of shows, trips abroad, visiting guests and sharing our knowledge with everyone who loves the outdoors as much as we do!
