Clwyd Agri and Lixwm Garage

Good Afternoon,

We are pleased to announce that Clwyd Agricultural and Lixwm Garage have merged.

We will now all work together under the Clwyd Agricultural name, with the aim of giving our customers the best possible service. We believe that especially during these uncertain times of change we are stronger together, and the joining of both companies will enhance all aspects of what we can offer to our customers.

Gareth Davies of Lixwm Garage has run a successful agricultural engineering company with his father for many years, and Clwyd Agricultural was established in 1980 with Lizzie and Pryderi Gruffydd taking over the business in December 2017. Both companies have always been family run businesses, with the same family ideals and passion for the farming community in North Wales, and having already worked closely together, we know that this development is a logical step forward.

The market has changed dramatically over the past 5 years but both companies have continued to grow. By combining our strengths, we will be able to offer a higher level of service support, have more engineers, a larger and more comprehensive replacement parts stock and a wider range of new machinery products. We will also streamline the administration whilst increasing the engineering capacity and improve the customer care.

Both companies have worked closely with Same, Deutz-Fahr and Vicon over many years. Together we will ensure continuity for these brands and aim to give exceptional support to these and all the brands we represent.

In practical terms, all correspondence and billing will now be done through Clwyd Agricultural Limited and bank details can be found on all invoices that are sent out. The company will be operating from Terfyn Buildings, Caerwys Road, Dyserth. The phone number for the office will be 01745 571018 but all individual mobile numbers will remain the same. Throughout November and December, we will merge both workshops, shops and parts stores into one site in Clwyd Agricultural and we anticipate from January 2021 onwards we will be working entirely from a single base. We will still be offering repair work on-site, along with collection and delivery of machinery into the workshop for repair.

There are further exciting changes happening at Clwyd Agricultural over the next few months – look out for updates about these in due course either on our Website or on Facebook. We look forward to implementing these changes and to welcoming you here during the coming months.
